Long time no see

Yesterday the day had finally come: I got to see my sister again. My father drove me to the airport and from there I had to travel to my sister's appartment by myself. And that was quite a journey. The flight to London was very nice; there were only 20 people in the airplane so I could choose where I wanted to sit. The view was very beautiful and before I could could close my eyes we had already arrived at Southend Airport. From there the journey became less pleasant. I had to take a train to Liverpool Station and, to be honest, I do not like the English public transport at all. The trains and tubes are very small and creepy. So was this train. I was, therefore, very happy when I arrived ad Liverpool Station. Soon followed the next challenge: I had to find my sister at London's largest railway station. It took a while, and a couple of calls later I finally found her at the Starbucks. After our reunion we went to her appartment and she showed me around. I was very tired of the journey so I was happy to find the bed and we went to sleep. The next day, today, we had a full agenda. After we had breakfast Hester took me to the London School of Economics and Political Science. She showed me around the building and I found it really nice. It is in the centre of London and it is very big. LSE is split up in different buildings and they are all very historical. After the 'tour' we went to a lecture about peace-making, which was very interesting, even though I could not always follow. After the lecture we stayed in the library for a while and we ate a crepe. In the evening we went to a dicussion panel in which four scientists discussed 'environmental responsibility of enterprises'. I found this event a bit boring, as the four experts did not really get into a debate. They also used a lot of busisness terms, which made it a lot harder to follow. After the event we went to eat something and now we are back at Hester's appartment to take a rest. I do not know what we will be doing tomorrow, but I do know that I am very tired.
